Incidents of Break-ins, Mishaps, and Cabling Larceny Reported
In a series of events, several incidents have been reported across Reutlingen and its surrounding areas. Here's a roundup of the latest news:
On Monday, a traffic accident involving an injured motorcyclist occurred around 12:50 PM on Bundesstraße 463 near Straßberg. According to the Police Headquarters Reutlingen, a 20-year-old motorcyclist, riding a Suzuki, veered off the road to the right, hit the guardrail, and fell due to a driving error. The motorcyclist was wearing protective gear and was taken to a clinic with minor injuries. The motorcycle was towed from the accident site, and no other road users were endangered or reported injuries.
Meanwhile, in Filderstadt, a break-in occurred at a bar on Sielminger Rathausplatz in the early hours of Tuesday. The Filderstadt Police Station has taken up the investigation, and the extent of the property damage and the value of the stolen goods are still undetermined.
In a separate incident, a burglary occurred on Darren Street in Reutlingen between 3:00 PM on Sunday and 3:30 PM on Monday. The Reutlingen-North Police Post and specialists from the Criminal Police have initiated an investigation.
Elsewhere, in Tübingen, a traffic accident occurred on Reutlingen Street on Tuesday morning. Details about the accident are yet to be released.
In Albstadt-Tailfingen, cable thieves gained access to a construction site on Lichtenbol Street and removed a high-voltage cable and another cable from a power distribution box between Thursday, 5:00 PM, and Monday, 3:00 PM. The Albstadt-Tailfingen Police Post has initiated investigations into the cable theft. Cable thieves stole two valuable cables worth approximately €1,000 from the construction site. The perpetrators of the cable thefts at the construction site in Tailfingen in recent days are presumably from Stuttgart.
Another incident involved an unknown perpetrator who gained access to an apartment via the balcony and stole jewelry and cash. The Reutlingen-North Police Post is currently investigating this case.
Approximately €18,000 worth of damage was caused by a traffic accident on Bundesstraße 463. The accident involved a 74-year-old driver of a VW Touran who collided with a Mercedes Sprinter driven by a 22-year-old during a lane change. Both vehicles had to be towed.
