Newton School of Technology Introduces Coding NSAT: A Revolutionary Approach to University Admissions

Aspiring technologists and students have a new opportunity to showcase their coding skills and apply for admissions at the Newton School of Technology (NSoT), which has campuses in Sonipat, Pune, and Bangalore.

Founded by Siddharth and Nishant, NSoT is a revolutionary educational institution that has announced the Coding Newton Scholastic Aptitude Test (Coding NSAT). This exam, set to be India's first undergraduate entrance exam centred on coding and programming skills, offers an alternative pathway to the conventional JEE route.

The Coding NSAT is designed for those who have dedicated more time to coding than traditional subjects. It consists of 26 questions divided into two sections, with a total weightage of 150 marks. The MCQ questions total 80 marks, inclusive of negative marking, and the coding format carries a total of 70 marks.

The exam assesses learnability, pseudocoding, and coding proficiency, prioritising self-taught programmers and rewarding them with opportunities. It aligns with NSoT's larger mission of fostering tech talent and is a reflection of the school's commitment towards outcome-driven education.

The Coding NSAT focuses on solving real-world problems, not just theoretical ones. It signals a paradigm shift in the Indian education system around tech talent discovery and nurturing.

Interested students can register for Coding NSAT at NSoT starting on the 10th of April, 2024. NSoT offers a unique approach to education, combining industry connections, mentorship, and real-world insights. Students at NSoT have access to exclusive clubs and immersive programs in global tech hubs.

At a time when conventional tests prioritise rote-based math, Coding NSAT offers a future-ready, inclusive pathway for coding-oriented individuals. It is situated in a strong coding and technology-focused environment. Coding NSAT is a part of NSoT's mission to redefine tech education.

Siddharth Maheshwari, Co-founder of NSoT, stated that the Coding NSAT is a reflection of their commitment towards an education that mirrors real-world challenges, not outdated academic formulas. The organization that announced the registration for the first-time administration of the Coding NSAT has not been identified in the available search results.

NSoT focuses on building the next generation of tech leaders. Coding NSAT prioritises self-taught programmers and rewards them with opportunities, making it a significant step towards nurturing tech talent in India.
