Individual discovered with knife injury
Last night, emergency services were dispatched to Haselhorst following a report of a serious assault in a multi-family residence on Kanalstraße.
According to the police, a 46-year-old man was found with a stab wound to the abdomen around 6:30 PM. He was rushed to a hospital for emergency surgery and subsequently admitted. The man claimed that two women inflicted the injury.
Investigations reveal that a 23-year-old woman and a 16-year-old friend visited the man earlier in the day. However, the 16-year-old left the apartment before the physical altercation. Drugs were consumed in the man's apartment before the assault.
The police have confirmed that a physical altercation ensued between the 46-year-old man and the 23-year-old woman. During this altercation, the 23-year-old woman is the one who inflicted the abdominal wound on the 46-year-old man.
The 23-year-old woman was taken into custody for further police questioning. A blood sample was taken from her for the investigation. The investigation into the assault is now being handled by a specialist unit from Police Directorate 2 (West).
It's important to note that the two women officially registered in connection with the serious assault in Haselhorst are the victim and the suspect. The 46-year-old man threatened the women with a knife and attempted to prevent their departure.
The 23-year-old woman and the 16-year-old friend visited the 46-year-old man after the assault. The 16-year-old was not involved in the altercation.
