In the Saxon state capital of Dresden, a remarkable incident occurred on August 24th, involving a US-American man named John Rudat. The incident took place on a tram in Dresden-Neustadt during the early hours of the day.

According to reports, Rudat, a 20-year-old, intervened in a situation where two men were harassing women on the tram. In the ensuing altercation, one of the men attacked Rudat with a knife, causing a deep cut to his face. Following the incident, Rudat was rushed to the University Hospital in Dresden for treatment. He stated during an appointment that he is feeling much better and his next check-up is scheduled for Friday.
