Individual sustains severe injuries in a solo-vehicle crash in Ahlen.
On August 26, 2025, a 30-year-old male driver from Ahlen was involved in a severe single-vehicle accident on the B 58 near Ahlen. The incident occurred approximately 300 meters after the B58/L811 junction, moving from Ahlen towards Drensteinfurt.
The driver lost control of his car, which first hit the right guardrail, causing the front right tire to detach. The vehicle then crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with the left guardrail. As a result, the driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital. The car was heavily damaged and had to be towed away as it was totaled.
Emergency services, including firefighters, were promptly dispatched to the scene to clean the road and provide assistance. The estimated total damage from the accident is 43,000 euros.
