In the heart of Tomsk, a unique bus stop has been revitalized, transforming a once ordinary stop into a hub of community activity. The initiative was spearheaded by entrepreneur and public figure, Vladimir Fedorov, who has a history of working on social projects beneficial to the city.

On November 4, 2021, during the Day of National Unity, Fedorov called on authorities to create, not destroy, and demonstrated his commitment by installing a bus stop in the 203-microdistrict of Yakutsk. This action was a response to the disappearance of the original bus stop, which he had supported.

The team at the "Profi-Market" store on Pokrovsky Trakt, led by director Andrey Vysokikh, followed Fedorov's lead and built a bus stop near a roundabout. The stop, constructed using their own resources, now includes an outdoor exercise machine, offering passengers a chance to stay active while waiting for their bus.

Near the bus stop, a children's slide and climbing pyramid have been added, making the area a popular spot for families. Comparisons can be made between the original bus stop built by Profi-Market and the standard one installed by the city administration.

Buses frequently stop at the location, making the revitalized bus stop a convenient and welcoming addition to the cityscape. Vladimir Fedorov is ready to demonstrate how such bus stops should be built, operated, and maintained, inspiring others to follow his lead.

Passengers no longer have to stand in the open without shelter or bench at this location, thanks to the efforts of Fedorov and the Profi-Market team. The success of this project in Tomsk serves as a testament to the power of community initiative and the potential for positive change.
