Indulge in a Delectable Dessert Dip Buffet

In the heart of summer, a refreshing and creative dessert has emerged, thanks to Tessa from the popular kitchen blog "Handle the Heat." The dessert in question is a "sweet dessert dip board," designed to resemble a pool party on a hot summer day.

The dip board is a no-bake dessert offering a unique way to serve sweet treats. It is adorned with graham crackers, wafer cookies, Teddy Grahams, mini pretzel twists, and fresh fruit, creating an inviting spread. Each dip recipe has a cream cheese base, making them perfect for scooping up with edible dippers such as mini pretzel twists, graham crackers, wafers, and Teddy Grahams.

Tessa's tutorial includes three tasty dessert dip recipes: Marshmallow Dip, Cannoli Dip, and Blueberry Cheesecake Dip. The Marshmallow Dip is studded with mini marshmallows, while the Cannoli Dip is studded with mini chocolate chips. The Blueberry Cheesecake Dip contains blueberries for a burst of flavour.

To dye the cream cheese dip navy blue, use a 2:1:1 ratio of blue, black, and purple gel food coloring. For those who prefer a blueberry flavour, use 1/2 tsp. of blueberry flavoring oil.

Leftover dips can be transformed into new treats by mixing in simple ingredients such as peanut butter, Nutella, sprinkles, brownie chunks, or chopped nuts. Gummy fish, gummy peach rings, a candy necklace, and optional Beach Ball Truffles can also be added to the dip board for an extra touch of fun.

The Beach Ball Truffles recipe requires 2 oz. of cream cheese, graham cracker crumbs, vanilla extract, white fondant, food coloring pens, and a fondant roller. To decorate the Beach Ball Truffles, use food coloring markers to draw classic beach ball sections on the white fondant.

These dessert dip recipes can also be used as tasty fruit dips, with suggestions for chopped strawberries, mango, and kiwi. So, whether you're hosting a pool party or simply looking for a unique dessert idea, the sweet dessert dip board is sure to be a hit!
