The Homberg-Hochheide District Library, located at Ehrenstraße 20, is excited to announce a new course for students in grades 5 and 6. The course, titled "Learning to program websites," will introduce the basics of HTML and CSS, offering a unique opportunity for young learners to explore the world of web development.

This engaging course will commence on September 13 and will be held every Saturday from 11 AM to 12 PM. The sessions will take place at the Stadtbibliothek Homberg-Hochheide.

No prior knowledge is required for the course, making it accessible to all interested students. During the sessions, children will learn essential skills such as inserting text and images, designing colors and fonts, and creating their own small websites. The course aims to inspire digital creativity and provide a first glimpse into the fascinating world of programming.

Participants are required to bring their own laptop to the sessions. Registration for the course is free and can be done in person at the library's information desk or online at www.stadtbibliothek-unser-website.de under 'Events'.

For any questions or to register for the course, please find the library's contact information and opening hours in the document 20250903-Plakat-Webseiten-Programmierkurs.pdf or contact the library team in person or by phone at 02066 34650.

The Homberg library team looks forward to welcoming young learners and helping them embark on a creative and educational journey into web development!
