In the early hours of August 23, 2025, a suspected dangerous bodily harm incident occurred in Burg on Fehmarn, Germany. The Fehmarn police station has initiated an investigation following allegations that two individuals beat a 28-year-old local man, leaving him unconscious and injured.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the two individuals involved in the incident were Polish men. A 22-year-old Polish man has been identified as a suspect, and a voluntary breath alcohol test showed a preliminary result of 1.7 per thousand for this individual.
