In a series of events that unfolded on Monday evening in Berlin-Mitte, two Polish nationals, aged 53 and 27, were provisionaly arrested by the Federal Police following an altercation on S-Bahn line 9.

The breath alcohol content of the 53-year-old was 3.24 per mille, and the 27-year-old had a reading of 3.78 per mille. The Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office ordered a blood test for the arrested individuals.

After the blood test, the Federal Police released the intoxicated duo. However, a criminal procedure has been initiated against the 53-year-old on suspicion of illegal residence. The Pole was found to have violated a ban on entering Germany.
