Inka Bause, the popular host of "Farmer Wants a Wife" and "Farmer Wants a Wife International" on RTL, has announced the cancellation of her highly anticipated "40 Years of Music" tour. The tour, which was set to feature a host of musicians, live music, and a large LED wall, has faced challenges due to low ticket sales, particularly in the eastern part of Germany.

The tour's struggles may be linked to Bause's political stance. Just before the 2025 federal election, Bause called on people not to vote for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. This decision seems to have cost her a few ticket sales, as some tickets have been returned following her political statements.

Bause, born in Leipzig and with a 40-year career in the music industry, suspects that her political statements may have contributed to the slow ticket sales for her tour. In a video, she explained that the tour had to be cancelled because a few more tickets needed to be sold to meet the planned level.

However, Bause remains unapologetic about her political views. She has expressed that she would make the same statements again, despite their potential impact on ticket sales. Fans who have already purchased tickets for the tour can now return them.

Interestingly, the only concert of Bause's tour that is not cancelled is on November 7th at the Berlin Admiralspalast. Tickets for this concert are still available. Bause announced the cancellation of her tour on Instagram, expressing her disappointment but also her commitment to her music and her political beliefs.

The tour cancellation is due to insufficient ticket sales. Despite this setback, Bause's career in the music industry continues, and fans can look forward to her future endeavours.
