New Vehicle Models Unveiled at the 2025 Greater Bay Auto Show
The 2025 Greater Bay Auto Show, held recently, showcased a variety of new vehicle models, including the Tank 700, a new off-road SUV for China, and the NIO EC7, a new electric coupe SUV.
The Tank 700, depicted in spy pics, is an off-road SUV designed specifically for the Chinese market. However, specific details about its engines, speeds, or manufacturers were not provided in the article.
The NIO EC7, on the other hand, is a new electric vehicle model, as shown in spy shots. The exact details about its engines, speeds, or manufacturers are also yet to be disclosed.
Another notable addition to the automotive market is the facelifted Volkswagen Polo. The new 1.5-liter engine of this model, developed by a Chinese manufacturer, boasts 63 kW power and a top speed of 178 km/h. Multiple suppliers such as Wuhan Zhufeng Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd. are involved in the production of this engine for the 2025 Polo facelift. Pictures of the new Polo from the back have been released, but no images of the front design have been unveiled yet.
The Polo is manufactured by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture in China. The old engines available for the Polo are 1.4 and 1.6, paired with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed auto.
In addition to the Tank 700, NIO EC7, and facelifted Volkswagen Polo, the 2025 Greater Bay Auto Show also featured the Xiaomi YU7, Maextro S800, and Yangwang U8L. While details about these new models are scarce, they are expected to make a significant impact in the automotive market.
The debut of the new car will take place at the Shanghai Auto Show in April, where more details about these new models are expected to be revealed. Stay tuned for more updates!
