Institute for Advertising Promotions Promotes Lori Sherman to Vice President of Advancement
The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI), the largest member organization in the promotional products industry, has announced the promotion of Lori Sherman to the position of Vice President of Development. The announcement was made by Dale Denham, senior vice president of information for ASI, at the company's headquarters in Trevose, PA.
Lori Sherman, who has been with ASI since 2000, started her journey with the company as the director of Internet technology. She has since demonstrated exceptional team-building skills and a deep understanding of customers' needs, leading to greater productivity.
Sherman earned her B.S. in electrical and computer engineering from Drexel University before joining the promotional products industry. Prior to her tenure at ASI, she spent three years as a director at Reliance Insurance Company in Philadelphia, where she managed development, infrastructure, and data aspects of e-commerce sites and products supporting the insurance business. She also led support for the email environment for over 6,000 employees worldwide at Reliance Insurance Company.
In her new role as Vice President of Development, Sherman's goal is to streamline and integrate the product lines to deliver maximum value to customers. She is excited about the challenges and opportunities that come with this new position and is looking forward to being a part of ASI at this time in the organization's history.
ASI offers a wide range of resources to its members, including catalogs, informational directories, newsletters, magazines, websites, databases, and various interactive business, marketing, and selling tools.
