The Leninsky District Court of Krasnodar has handed down a verdict against Sergey Vladimirovich Loginov, the former executive director of OJSC "Military Insurance Company" (MSC). Loginov, who led the company from December 2007 to June 2010, was involved in two "AutoKASKO" fraud scandals.

According to the court's findings, Loginov orchestrated two insurance fraud schemes during his tenure at MSC. In February 2010, he obtained fake documents about a Nissan Qashqai car involved in an accident and received over 418,000 rubles in cash. Similarly, in July 2008, he obtained fake documents about a Mercedes-Benz CLS-350 car involved in an accident, insured by MSC, and received a 120,000 ruble insurance payout.

The total amount embezzled by Loginov was over 530,000 rubles. In addition to this, he was ordered to pay 448,000 rubles in compensation for the damage caused.

Loginov admitted his guilt at the trial and confirmed the embezzlement. As a result, he was sentenced to one year and two months of imprisonment in a general-regime correctional colony.

This case serves as a reminder of the importance of integrity and accountability in leadership roles, especially in the insurance industry. The court's decision sends a clear message that such actions will not be tolerated and those found guilty will face the consequences of their actions.
