Intense fires plague Leipzig's eastern district
In the district of Sellerhausen-Stünz, Leipzig, East Germany, a fire broke out on Monday night. The blaze started in a garden house on Stünz-Mölkauer-Weg and quickly spread, engulfing another shed nearby.
The local fire department responded promptly, using a total of four extinguishing hoses to combat the flames. However, the dense vegetation in the area reportedly complicated their efforts. Despite this challenge, the fire department was successful in containing the fire and preventing further spread.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident. The authorities are currently assessing the extent of the damage caused to the affected structures, but no reports of damage to nearby properties or structures have been made as yet.
