In an unexpected turn of events, a collision between a police car and an e-scooter occurred in Neutraubling at around 13:45 yesterday.

According to reports, the incident began when a plainclothes unit from the Neutraubling Police Station signaled a 28-year-old man from Obertraubling to stop while he was riding an e-scooter. However, instead of complying, the man attempted to flee.

In the ensuing chase, the man on the e-scooter collided with the right front of the police car, resulting in damage to both vehicles in the low four-figure range. Despite the impact, the e-scooter rider only sustained minor abrasions.

The man is now being investigated for endangering traffic. It's worth noting that a blood test has been ordered to check for intoxicants, and the results are yet to be disclosed.

Interestingly, the name of the 28-year-old man from Obertraubling who was riding the e-scooter has not been publicly disclosed at this time. However, it is known that he had a blood alcohol level of 2.3 at the time of the incident.
