Introduced in 2025, the Bajaj Chetak 35 Series has its price set at ₹1.20 lakh
The Indian auto industry is abuzz with excitement as Bajaj Auto introduces its latest offering, the Chetak 35 series. This new model, equipped with a larger 3.5 kWh battery and priced from 1.20 lakh rupees, promises to redefine the electric scooter market.
The new Chetak 35 series comes with a host of safety features, including geo fence and speed lock settings. To cater to diverse riding styles, the scooter offers two ride modes: Eco and Sports (available with TecPac).
The TFT cluster in the new Chetak 35 series is a standout feature, offering music control, Bluetooth connectivity, integrated maps, and the ability to accept/ reject calls on the go. This innovative cluster also supports Bluetooth connectivity, ensuring a seamless and modern riding experience.
The new Chetak 35 series boasts a larger 35-litres of underseat storage and an increased seat length by almost 80 mm, providing ample space for riders' belongings.
Powered by a new, bigger 3.5 kWh battery paired to a 4.2 kW motor, the scooter offers a range of 153 km (IDC-claimed). Impressively, the battery takes just 3 hours to charge from 0-80 per cent with a 950W charger on board.
The new Chetak 35 series will be available in three variants: 3501, 3502, and 3503. The 3502 variant is priced at ₹1.20 lakh, while the 3501 variant is slightly more expensive at ₹1.27 lakh. (No information about the 3503 variant's price was provided.)
Deliveries for the new Bajaj Chetak 35 series will start at the end of this month. With its innovative features, competitive pricing, and impressive range, the new Chetak 35 series is set to compete against the TVS iQube and Ola S1 Pro.
Built around a new frame, with the battery located in the footboard, the new Chetak 35 series promises a smooth and comfortable ride. The scooter also comes with a 3-year warranty or 50,000 km, ensuring peace of mind for riders.
