Introducing the 2025 KTM 790 Adventure: its launch has been announced.
KTM has unveiled the 2025 iteration of the popular 790 Adventure, marking a new entry point to the brand's middleweight adventure bikes.
The new model slots below the KTM 890 Adventure R variant in the brand's lineup, and will initially be launched in global markets. The planned sales price for the KTM 790 Adventure in Germany at its launch is approximately €11,990.
The 2025 790 Adventure retains the same 799cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, generating 94bhp and 87 Nm of torque, as its predecessor. However, it inherits the front fork and rear shock absorber from its larger sibling, the 890 Adventure. The front fork is a fully adjustable 43mm WP Apex open cartridge unit, while the rear suspension is a WP Apex shock absorber.
KTM introduced new touchscreen instrument clusters for its premium range of bikes in 2024. Unfortunately, the 2025 790 Adventure does not feature this upgrade. However, it does come with a new Rally off-road riding mode in its electronics package.
Two new color options are available for the 2025 790 Adventure. The brand's intention to bring the new model to India is implied, given the availability of several premium range bikes in the country. However, official pricing and availability for the Indian market have not been announced yet.
KTM returned to EICMA 2024 with a lineup of 18 new motorcycles, including the 2025 790 Adventure. The new model is positioned as the new entry point to KTM's middleweight adventure bikes, making it an exciting option for adventure enthusiasts looking to join the KTM family.
