Burglary in Riesenbeck and Steinfurt: Police Investigating Two Incidents

In two separate incidents, burglaries have been reported in the towns of Riesenbeck and Steinfurt. The Steinfurt Police are currently investigating these incidents and are seeking the public's help.

On Saturday afternoon, unknown perpetrators gained forced entry to a single-family home in Riesenbeck, located on Handelstraße. The burglars reportedly pried open a window to gain entry to the house, and it is believed they searched several rooms before making off with an unknown quantity of jewelry. The value of the stolen jewelry has yet to be determined.

Anyone who may have witnessed the burglary in Riesenbeck on February 25, 2025, between 14:30 and 18:15, is asked to contact the Rheine station at 05971/938-4215. The Steinfurt Police are also seeking witnesses to this incident.

In a separate incident, a burglary occurred at a detached house on Handelstraße in Steinfurt. The details of this incident are currently unclear, but it is known that jewelry was stolen, and the value of the stolen jewelry is yet to be determined.
