Investigating a motorist suspected of being impaired by marijuana within urban surroundings.
In the region of Delmenhorst, Oldenburg, and Wesermarsch, an incident occurred on federal road 437 that has sparked the interest of local authorities.
On Thursday, 28th August 2025, a car driver was stopped by the police in Nordenham on federal road 437. The driver in question was a 30-year-old Volkswagen driver, who was suspected of being under the influence of THC.
The incident took place at around 22:35 PM, near Stadland, on federal road 437. During the control, the driver appeared to be intoxicated, and a test suggested a possible influence of THC on the driver.
As a result, an investigation procedure was initiated against the 30-year-old, in addition to an earlier one. The driver repeatedly ended up on the opposite lane while driving on federal road 437.
The driver of a VW car was driving in the direction of Schweiburg on federal road 437 when the incident occurred. A blood sample was taken from the 30-year-old driver for further analysis.
The name and profession of the driver are not disclosed in the police reports. However, it is stated that the driver was a 30-year-old Volkswagen driver suspected of being under the influence of THC.
