Investigating Authority at Bonn-Auerberg Seeks Individuals who Saw Auto Collision Incident
In the early morning of August 5, 2025, a traffic accident occurred on "Auf der Josefshöhe" street in Bonn-Auerberg. According to the Bonn Police, an unknown driver allegedly crossed the Kölnstraße at a red light and collided with a 34-year-old's vehicle.
The driver, who has yet to be identified, was reportedly traveling towards the city center on Kölnstraße. The rental car used by the unknown individual was later found and secured in the Auerberg area.
The 34-year-old sustained minor injuries in the accident and was taken to a hospital by ambulance. The current condition of the individual is not known.
The Bonn Police's traffic division 1 is investigating the accident on suspicion of hit-and-run. Witnesses to the accident are urged to contact the police at 0228 15-0 or by email at [email protected].
