Hyundai is making waves in the Chinese market with a series of new vehicle introductions. The Korean automaker is keeping its popular coupe model, the Hyundai Feisi, in its lineup for the Chinese market, while also unveiling a new electric SUV and a sporty SUV.

The Feisi, which is a phonetic translation of the Veloster and can be roughly translated as 'Flying Think', will continue to be imported to China with a starting price of around 170,000 yuan. The Veloster coupe does not have a direct translation in Chinese, instead, it is named 'Feisi'.

In a significant step for Hyundai's electric vehicle strategy, the manufacturer has introduced a new electric SUV, named Elexio. The Elexio is Hyundai's first dedicated electric SUV and was globally debuted by Beijing Hyundai. The model is developed through a joint venture between Hyundai and the Chinese company BAIC.

The Elexio is not the only new electric vehicle on the horizon for Hyundai in China. The Hyundai Veloster coupe is set to debut in China at the Shanghai Auto Show in April.

In addition to its electric vehicle offerings, Hyundai is also making a splash with a new sporty SUV, named Mufasa. The Mufasa is a sporty SUV specifically designed for the Chinese market.

Meanwhile, Audi has also entered the Chinese market with the unveiling of the Audi Q6, which has a starting price of around $74,000.

With these new introductions, Hyundai is poised to continue its growth in the Chinese market and offer consumers a wider range of exciting and innovative vehicles. The debut of the Elexio marks a significant step for Hyundai's electric vehicle strategy, while the Mufasa and Feisi provide consumers with a sporty and stylish option.
