On Friday evening, August 29th, at approximately 20:45, a 52-year-old man was found severely injured on a sidewalk in front of the Nord Sports Hall in Dortmund.

The incident occurred after the man had an altercation with several individuals. According to reports, the attack was violent, with the suspects inflicting multiple injuries on the victim using a sharp object.

The suspects, believed to be five darkly dressed men, are described as being between 20 and 30 years old. One of the suspects was wearing a red jersey, while another was wearing a cap. After the attack, the suspects fled the scene, and an immediate search involving a search dog was conducted, but it proved unsuccessful.

The injured man was transported to a hospital via ambulance, and doctors have stated that his life is in danger. The man is a resident of Dortmund.

The Dortmund police have initiated an investigation into the incident, but as of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the attack. The police are urging anyone with information regarding the suspects or the incident to come forward.
