On the evening of August 10, a significant traffic accident occurred on federal road B56 near Siegburg, Cologne. The incident involved a white BMW 220d, which overturned after an abrupt braking maneuver, leaving three occupants in the vehicle lying on its roof.

According to the available information, the driver of the BMW, aged 40 to 45, fled the scene of the accident. The height of the suspected driver is estimated to be 1.85 meters, and he is described as a man with medium-length dark hair, stubble, and elegantly dressed, wearing a white shirt and stylish pants. However, no further details about the driver's identity or the current status of the investigation have been released.

The accident occurred around 7:50 PM, just before the "Siegburg Zange" exit. The driver, while in the overtaking lane, switched to the exit for the L 332, losing control of the vehicle in the process.

As a result of the accident, a six-year-old child, a 36-year-old woman, and a 38-year-old man were injured and required hospital treatment.
