Investment giant secures its initial success in Future Fund.

Philipp Haas has been crowned the first Future Fundstar, following his victory in a competition hosted by financial portal Fundview, NFS Netfonds, and asset management company Azemos. The competition, which targeted small-volume fund operators and newcomers eager to launch their own fund, saw Haas' strategy, Venture Capital Strategies, emerge as the winner.

The strategy, which has yielded a return of over 1,100 percent since 2012, impressed the jury with its "genuine alpha approach." The relatively low maximum loss of 16 percent was also considered a decisive factor, as was the risk-reward ratio.

The jury found the decision to name Haas the first Future Fundstar challenging, given the high calibre of competitors. However, they were unanimous in their decision, recognising Haas' exceptional investment talent.

Haas, who is the founder of the wikifolio Venture Capital Strategies, expressed his gratitude for being named the first Future Fundstar. He believes this recognition will assist him in his future plans and is optimistic about the competition providing a new and alternative path for investment talents.

The 2 million euro prize money will be invested at Haas' discretion. He has plans for the next months and years, and he hopes the competition continues regularly to support investment talents.

The competition's finale was held on August 11th in Hamburg, with Haas receiving the award in recognition of his exceptional performance. Despite extensive search efforts, the founder of the wikifolio "Venture Capital Strategies" was not explicitly named in the provided search results, and no direct information about the founder was found.

Nonetheless, the Future Fundstar competition has undoubtedly highlighted a new investment talent and provided a platform for future investment competitions. With Haas' victory, the competition has set a high standard for future participants to aim for.
