In the city of Dortmund, the local police force has been working tirelessly to maintain a sense of security among its residents and combat crime. As part of their efforts, the Dortmund Police has been conducting regular deployments in heavily frequented city center areas, as outlined in the "Focus" presence concept.

Recent operations have led to several significant findings. A known dealer on Flotowstraße was checked, who had repeatedly and multiply violated spatial restrictions. A criminal proceeding was initiated against this individual, and similar actions were taken against another individual for the same offense.

The primary objective of these deployments is to prevent and investigate violations, particularly of the Narcotics Act, and ensure safety in public spaces. In this regard, officers have seized several units of drugs, leading to indicators of illegal drug trafficking. One such incident occurred at the north exit of the main station, where a 29-year-old individual was found in possession of the drugs.

Another individual, a 36-year-old, was encountered on Stollenstraße during a personal check, riding a reported stolen high-value e-bike. The e-bike was secured, and a criminal complaint was filed.

Furthermore, an arrest warrant was executed in the area of the Nordmarkt against a 22-year-old, resulting in the seizure of smaller amounts of narcotics and cash. After paying off an almost 1000 euro warrant, the individual was released.

In addition to these actions, corresponding criminal complaints were filed, and numerous eviction orders were issued. A three-digit amount was also seized for preventive reasons.

The Dortmund Police continues its presence measures to further strengthen the sense of security among the Dortmund population and to prevent crime and traffic offenses. Journalists with questions should contact Steffen Korthoff at Dortmund Police, reachable at 0231-132-1035, email [email protected], or visit the Dortmund Police website at https://dortmund.polizei.nrw/ for more information.

It is worth noting that there is no publicly available information on the next arrest warrant execution against a 30-year-old in Dortmund. The Dortmund Police urges the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
