"$Joao Felix scores three goals in his first match for Al-Nassr, while Al-Hilal begins their season impressively"
In the opening game of the Saudi Pro League season, Al-Hilal, Riyadh's local rivals of Al-Nassr, secured a victory against Al-Taawoun. The match saw a series of exciting goals, with Cristiano Ronaldo making his mark on his first game for the team.
The opening goal for Al-Hilal was scored by Moteb Al-Harbi from just inside the area, setting the tone for the match. Salem Al-Dawsari, the team's new playmaker, played a crucial role in this goal, as well as assisting the second one. The second goal was scored by Malcom from the edge of the box, now wearing the No. 10 jersey for Al-Hilal.
Just a minute after Cristiano Ronaldo's 54th-minute goal from the spot, Kingsley Coman netted his first goal in Saudi Arabia with a header from the edge of the area. The French international's goal was a response to Ronaldo's, making the score 3-0 in favour of Al-Hilal.
Joao Felix, the new signing for Al-Nassr, managed to score a hat-trick on his league debut against Al-Taawoun. His first goal came after seven minutes into the match, and his second was another fine strike from distance, scored midway through the second half. Felix's third goal was a close-range effort that brought the score to 4-1 in favour of Al-Nassr.
In the day's other game, Al-Khaleej defeated Al-Shabab 4-1. The defending champions, Al-Ittihad, will begin their title defense on Saturday at Al-Okhdood.
Meanwhile, Simone Inzaghi, the new coach of Al-Hilal, will be looking to build on this win as they continue their season. With Ronaldo and Al-Dawsari in form, they are certainly off to a strong start.
