After graduating from high school, Wang continued her studies at a military academy, where she graduated with excellent grades.
Wang's career in the air forces began in earnest, and she quickly qualified as a pilot. Her exceptional skills caught the attention of the country's space programme, and she was selected to become an astronaut.
Wang's first space flight occurred in 2013, and she has since made several trips to the stars. In 2021, she made history once again by performing a spacewalk.
