In an exciting turn of events, Le Tiec Anh, the Asian Tennis Federation U14 champion, has triumphed in the qualifying event for the Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault 2025. The tournament, scheduled to take place in Tokyo, Japan from October 15-19, will see Le Tiec Anh compete against 14 other rivals, including Yashwin Dahiya Dahiya of India, whom he defeated in the final round of the qualifiers in China.
The qualifying event, which featured 24 boys and 24 girls under the age of 16, used a round-robin format for competition. Le Tiec Anh, who hails from Southeast Asia, won the Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault 2025 - Qualifications East, Southeast, and South Asia on August 23 in China.
Throughout the tournament, Le Tiec Anh demonstrated his prowess, defeating No 7 Bang John Hyun Gyum of South Korea in the group round and No 2 Ranvir Singh of India in another crucial match. He also outclassed Liu Ian of Chinese Taipei in the semi-finals with scores of 6-3, 6-1.

The champions in the qualifying event in Japan will secure direct entry into the Roland-Garros Junior Championships 2026 in Paris. Le Tiec Anh, as the only representative of the Southeast Asia zone in the Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault 2025, will be seeking his first Grand Slam in the tournament.
The Roland-Garros Club Hainan, where the qualifying event was previously held, is located in Qionghai City, Hainan Province, China. However, it is important to note that the Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault 2025 will take place in Japan, not China, as previously stated.
