Juveniles inflict severe harm on a 56-year-old resident of Cologne
In the city of Cologne, Germany, an attack on a security guard has left authorities searching for answers. The incident occurred early on Saturday morning, as the victim, a 56-year-old man, was heading to his car in the Nippes district.
The attackers, who were reportedly wearing jogging pants and appeared to be juveniles, aged approximately 16 to 20 years old, severely injured the security guard with kicks and punches. Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a hospital.
The Cologne Police are actively investigating the attack, with the homicide squad taking the lead. Investigators are evaluating videos from private cameras near the scene, hoping to find footage of the attackers.
