In the heart of Moscow, six families from Kamchatka Krai made a significant impression at the national "Family of the Year - 2025" competition. The event was organised by the Kamchatka Social Assistance Center "Семья" with the support of the regional Ministry of Social Welfare.

The competition, which had six categories, saw families from various districts of Kamchatka participating. The categories included "Large Family", "Golden Family", "Young Family", "Rural Family", "Family - Keeper of Traditions", and a new addition for 2025, "Family of the Homeland Defender".

In the "Golden Family" category, Chebykin from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky took 1st place, Saidov from Milkovo village secured 2nd place, and Penizin from Tigil village claimed 3rd place. The "Rural Family" category saw Shilaev from Milkovo village emerge as the winner, with Kvasha from Sosnovka village and Sosonny from Razdolny settlement taking 2nd and 3rd places respectively.

The "Large Family" category was a closely contested one. Braghish from Vilyuchinsk clinched the 1st place, Zaitsev from Oktяbрьsky settlement took 2nd place, and Shiryayev from Vilyuchinsk secured 3rd place.

However, there seems to be a mystery surrounding the families from the "Family of the Homeland Defender" category. Although these families were sent to the national competition and were more than just regional event winners, there are no search results providing information about them.

The results of the Kamchatka "Family of Kamchatka - 2025" competition were announced at the Palace of Children's Creativity. The event was not just about the competition, as guests were also treated to master classes, robotics workshops, live performances, photo zones, and a concert featuring local artists.

In the "Young Family" category, Gonenko from Milkovo village bagged the 1st place, Danilko-Nikitina from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky took 2nd place, and Lysenko from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky secured 3rd place. The "Guardians of Tradition" category saw Yashins from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky win 1st place, Levkovskies from Vulkanny settlement claim 2nd place, and Dolgan from Ayanka village take 3rd place.

In the "Family of the Homeland Defender" category, Andreеva-Surueva from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky won 1st place, Savchits from Vilyuchinsk took 2nd place, and Fedorovs from Milkovo village placed 3rd. The competition saw 18 families participating in this category.

Anastasia Fedoseeva, Minister of Social Welfare and Family Policy of Kamchatka Krai, congratulated the winners and participants of the competition. The event was a testament to the strong family values and community spirit that thrive in Kamchatka Krai.
