Last weekend saw some Kazakhstani players making a real splash in various tournaments. In the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up tournament, an impressive 3562 players entered, creating a prize pool of $712,400. The standout Kazakh player, "Rivera_net," managed an impressive 414th place, pocketing $227.96.

Another Sunday Warm-Up tournament, this time part of the December Festival, attracted 2939 registrations, amassing a prize pool of $587,800. "no_hedge77" from Kazakhstan snagged 213th place and took home $264.51.

The Sunday Million $215 tournament saw a whopping 7420 players register, creating a prize pool of a mind-boggling $1,484,000. The first-place prize was a sweet $217,717.94. Two Kazakh players made it to the money: "B777NNN" claimed $845.88 for 313th place, while "-ANALNATSHA-" took home $742.00 for 399th place.

Looking ahead, next Sunday, December 28, a special Sunday Million tournament with a guaranteed $5,000,000 prize pool and at least $500,000 for the winner is up for grabs.
