Kazakhstani female marksmen clinch gold at Asian championship
The 16th Asian Championship in Shymkent, organised by the Committee on Sports and Physical Culture under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan, concluded with a thrilling mixed doubles trap event.
The championship featured multiple events and attracted teams from various countries, including India, Uzbekistan, and the host nation, Kazakhstan.
Among the participants were Nikita Moiseev and Eleonora Ibragimova, a Russian duo representing Kazakhstan. The pair competed in more than one event during the championship.
In the mixed doubles trap event final, the Kazakhstan duo faced off against the Indian team. The match was closely contested, but in the end, Moiseev and Ibragimova emerged victorious with a score of 38:37.
This was not the first time the Kazakhstan team had tasted success at the championship. They had previously won a silver medal in the mixed team event.
The junior shooting team of Kazakhstan also clinched the overall victory in the championship. Meanwhile, Uzbekistan and India managed to secure bronze medals in unspecified events.
The Committee on Sports and Physical Culture under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan reported the victory and oversaw the organisation of the event. The triumph was also reported by a specific website.
The 16th Asian Championship in Shymkent showcased the high level of shooting skills across the participating nations and provided an exciting competition for both players and spectators alike.
