Kicking off summer vacation with a celebration
The Municipal Youth Center KOMM in Bayreuth's Hindenburgstraße 47 is gearing up for an action-packed August, offering a variety of events and activities for all ages.
Kicking off the month is the KOMM Summer Festival on August 1st. The festival, which starts at 3:30 PM, will feature group grilling and outdoor games. In case of rain, an alternative date will be announced.
On August 2nd, the KOMM by Night event will take place at the youth center from 5 PM to 10 PM.
For football and basketball enthusiasts, the KOMM Youth Center is the perfect place to play. It also boasts a pool table, a dance room, a stage, a gaming room, a fitness room, and a café.
The KOMM Youth Center is not just about sports and games. On August 20th, a Girls Day event will be held, providing a boys-free zone for female kids and teens to have fun and discuss topics without male interference.
For those interested in music and podcast production, the KOMM team has set up a sound studio.
If you're looking for a more structured activity, a Street Dance Workshop takes place every Tuesday from 4 PM to 5 PM.
In addition, the Adventure Playground at Meranierring 55 is open Monday to Friday from 1 PM to 7 PM.
The Mobile Youth Social Worker, Sven Weiß, is available for personal conversations every Tuesday from 2 PM to 6 PM at the KOMM Youth Center.
Lastly, a water battle is scheduled for August 19th at the youth center, starting at 3 PM. Participants are advised to wear waterproof clothing and bring water guns.
