Kids' stage play series at the Water Tower Forum continues in September
The much-loved Children's Theater Series at Forum Wasserturm in Lank-Latum, Germany, is set to return in September, bringing a delightful lineup of plays for young audiences. This popular series is part of the Meerbusch children's theater series and will feature performances from various ensembles, including "Puppen etc." from Berlin, Theater Fithe/Kelmis from Belgium, and the theater "Lille Kartoffler" from Langenfeld.
The series kicks off on September 21st with "You Started It - No, You Didn't!", based on the children's book "Two Monsters" by David Mc Kee. This play, intended for children aged 3 to 6, will be performed by the ensemble "Puppen etc." from Berlin at 3 pm.
On October 26th at 3 pm, Theater Fithe/Kelmis from Belgium will present the play "Little Ice Bear, Where Are You Going?" which is based on the picture book by Hans de Beer. Suitable for boys and girls aged 4 and up, the performance promises to be a captivating adventure.
As the festive season approaches, the series will continue with "Rosa Luise and the Lost Christmas Parcels" on Christmas Eve. This heartwarming performance will take place at 11 am on the Wasserturm stage.
Another highlight of the series is "Sleeping Beauty", performed by the theater "Lille Kartoffler" from Langenfeld on November 23rd at 3 pm. This unique production features life-sized textile puppets and invites the audience to be directly involved in the performance.
Tickets for the performances can be purchased at bookstores in Lank and Osterath, at post offices in Osterath and Büderich, at the municipal cultural administration by calling 02159/916-251, or online via the ticket portal Reservix. Advance sale tickets for the performance cost 7.70 euros, while tickets for the Christmas Eve performance will cost eight euros.
