However, her comments have not been well-received by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin has criticised Kardashian over her comments about President Donald Trump's immigration policies. In a statement given to TMZ, McLaughlin advised Kardashian against future speeches on immigration-related matters.
The White House has also expressed a desire for Kardashian to avoid discussing matters related to mass deportation. McLaughlin suggested that Kardashian is not knowledgeable enough to address the issues at hand, a sentiment echoed by the DHS.
