Lake District Reports Arrive from PP Ravensburg
In the Lake Constance District, a series of incidents have been reported over the past few days, including fraud cases and vehicle accidents.
On Monday evening, a teenager was attacked near the Rotach path in Friedrichshafen following a dispute. The Friedrichshafen police are investigating the background of the attack and trying to identify the attackers. The teenager later sought medical treatment.
In a separate incident on Monday morning, a 62-year-old woman's car, a Smart, landed in a creek in Bleichweg, Friedrichshafen. The woman was carried along for several meters in the creek before managing to free herself and climb out using a ladder. The damage to her car is estimated at several thousand euros.
In another incident on Sunday, an Opel driver is being investigated for a hit and run on the B31 between Eriskirch and Friedrichshafen. The Opel's damage is estimated at around 10,000 euros. The Opel driver swerved left from his lane and collided with the guardrail, causing damage.
The Lake Constance District has also seen a number of fraud cases recently. Last week, a woman from the Überlingen area fell victim to a scam involving a fake bank employee. A senior citizen in Ravensburg lost 150,000 euros to a similar scam. In another case, a 68-year-old was persuaded to install an app and transfer a five-figure sum from her account after being scammed.

In a separate incident, a burglary occurred in a garden shed on Zeppelinstraße in Fischbach, Friedrichshafen, on Monday morning. The burglar was looking for food and started a fire while trying to cook on a gas stove. The fire spread and burned down the entrance area of the shed, causing property damage estimated at around 15,000 euros. Witnesses to the incident are asked to call 07541/701-0. The police in Immenstaad are investigating the burglary and are seeking information about the suspect or the crime.
