In the heart of Anrath, a new E-charging park is taking shape on Akira-Okada-Straße in the industrial area Münchheide V. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Stadtwerke CEO Tafil Pufja and Mayor Christian Pakusch.

The 4,500 square meter park will feature 50 parking spaces, including six barrier-free ones, which are publicly accessible without a barrier. These spaces will be covered and equipped with a photovoltaic system, generating clean energy for the park.

The total charging capacity of the park is an impressive 4,600 kilowatts, distributed among Stadtwerke, Tesla, Allego, and Electra. Payment options for the E-charging park include charging cards, apps, credit cards, or Plug&Charge.

Mayor Pakusch joked about his 34th groundbreaking event at the new JVA Anrath, expressing his excitement for this innovative project. Tafil Pufja revealed that the park will offer more than just charging services, with a lounge by bk world, a bistro, WC facilities, a DHL packing station, and a hotel provided by the company "Roatel" in container form.

The electricity used in the park will be 100% green. Five wind turbines will provide the necessary electricity, with three located at Dickerheide in Willich, and two to be built directly opposite the charging park on Aachener Straße. The investment volume for this project is three million euros.

The E-charging park is not yet listed on Google Maps, but it can be found near the Aachener Straße roundabout. Four smart micro-hotels in container form will also be offered by the company "Roatel" at the E-charging park. The park will also have a hotel with six barrier-free parking spaces.

The company ZÜBLIN is building the smart micro hotels at the new E-charging station in Anrath. This project is a significant step towards a more sustainable future, offering electric car drivers a convenient and eco-friendly charging and resting spot.
