Latest Insights on the Upcoming Galaxy S25 FE Before Its Official Unveiling
The tech world is abuzz with excitement as Samsung has officially announced the release date for its highly anticipated device, the Galaxy S25 FE. The announcement, made earlier this week, sets the launch date for September 4th, a day before the IFA trade show in Berlin.
According to the official announcement, the Galaxy S25 FE will run One UI 8 (Android 16) out of the box, ensuring a smooth and seamless user experience. The device is expected to be powered by the Exynos 2400 chip, a testament to Samsung's commitment to cutting-edge technology.
As for its specifications, the Galaxy S25 FE is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display, making it ideal for an immersive viewing experience. The device is also said to have an Armor Aluminum housing with Gorilla Glass Victus Plus, offering durability and protection against accidental drops.
The Galaxy S25 FE is expected to boast a triple camera array, with a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto. The selfie camera is reported to be a 12MP lens with an f/2.2 aperture. One of the standout features of the S25 FE is its "even brighter screen" due to the AI ProVisual Engine, promising enhanced visuals for photos and videos.
Interestingly, an early online listing of the Galaxy S25 FE was spotted on a Portuguese website, MediaMarkt, with the alleged pricing of €789.99 ($920). However, it's important to note that this could be a leak or an overestimation, and the final pricing may vary.
The Galaxy S25 FE is rumoured to be thinner and lighter than its predecessor, with dimensions of 7.4mm in width and approximately 190 grams in weight. The device may debut with two RAM/storage variations: 8/128GB and 8/256GB.
In intriguing developments, the online listing of the Galaxy S25 FE on MediaMarkt included official-looking posters, and German publication Nieuwe Mobiel downloaded all the images from the product page before it was taken down.
While the official launch date has been confirmed, the actual release date for the Galaxy S25 FE remains unannounced. The first online announcement of the S25 FE was possibly published by ComputerBase, mentioning its updated technology and thinner, lighter aluminum body, before the official confirmation. The official confirmation is expected around Galaxy Unpacked in January 2025.
