In the heart of Cologne-Eil, traffic came to a halt on August 26, as a serious motorcycle accident occurred on Bensberger Straße.
The incident, which took place around 4:30 pm, involved a motorcyclist and a VW driven by a 35-year-old individual. The motorcyclist was traveling on Bensberger Straße towards Grengeler Mauspfad, while the car driver turned left from Heumarer Mauspfad onto Bensberger Straße.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with severe head injuries, while the car driver sustained minor injuries and was also treated in the hospital.
