Mystery Surrounds ATM Theft in Bonn
In a recent development, the Bonn Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying an unknown man suspected of committing a theft at an ATM in the city.
On March 22, 2025, the suspect withdrew a high three-digit amount from a stolen debit card belonging to an 80-year-old woman in Bonn's city center. The incident occurred at a cash machine on Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz.
The Bonn Police have released images of the suspect, which are now being published with a court order. These images can be accessed on the North Rhine-Westphalia Police's wanted portal at https://polizei.nrw/fahndung/177986.
The police have asked for the public's help in identifying the man, and encourage anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigation Department 15 at 0228 15-0 or by email at [email protected].
