Law Enforcement Agents Interrupt Harmful Assault Incidents
In an unfortunate incident that took place early Sunday morning, a physical altercation occurred at the S-Bahn station Warschauer Straße in Berlin. According to eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred just after midnight.
The altercation involved five individuals: a 24-year-old Polish national, his 27-year-old companion, and three Afghan men. The incident began as a verbal argument between the Polish national, his companion, and the three Afghan men.
As the argument escalated, the three Afghan men allegedly attacked the Polish man. A 19-year-old Romanian national, who attempted to intervene and mediate, was punched in the face by one of the attackers.
Both the 19-year-old Romanian national and the Polish victim declined medical treatment. The Romanian national sustained a facial injury, while the Polish victim suffered multiple bruises.
All individuals involved in the altercation were under the influence of alcohol. It is important to note that all individuals had previous police records.
Federal Police officers at the scene were able to detain all individuals involved in the altercation. The Federal Police is currently investigating the three Afghan men for suspected grievous bodily harm.
At the time of writing, there are no available search results providing information about the three Afghan individuals suspected by the Federal Police in connection with the altercation at the Warschauer Straße subway station.
