Break-in at Wesel District Jewelry Store Under Police Investigation

Early Monday morning, an unknown group of individuals broke into a jewelry store on Homberger Street in Wesel District. The suspects, who are still at large, made off with various pieces of jewelry.

According to the Wesel District Police Headquarters, five male individuals are being sought in connection with the break-in. It is reported that one of the suspects was wearing light gray upper clothing, while the others were wearing black upper clothing. The suspects were also wearing black pants.

The jewelry store break-in occurred around 04:00, and the suspects left the scene in a white Seat Ibiza car. The police are currently searching for this vehicle in connection with the incident.

The incident took place at the Wesel District Police Headquarters, and the press spokesman for the department is Police Chief Inspector Henner Störmer. Chief Inspector Störmer has been leading the press and public relations department since mid-June 2025.
