In a significant development, the Criminal Police in Elmshorn have made a major breakthrough in their investigation into the alleged dealing of hard drugs in the city area. The main suspect, a 25-year-old Turkish citizen from Elmshorn, was provisionally arrested on Thursday afternoon (28.08.2025) in Steindammpark, Elmshorn.

The search measures, ordered by a judge at Itzehoe District Court upon application by the Itzehoe Public Prosecutor's Office, led to the securing of additional evidence and a four-digit sum of cash from three apartments in the Elmshorn city area.
