Law enforcement authorities uncover misappropriated club assets during their search operations
Police Recover Stolen Sports Equipment in Goldberg
Last week, police searches in Goldberg recovered most of the stolen goods from a local sports club over the summer. The stolen items, including jerseys, a laptop, and around 50 footballs, valued at approximately €1,500, were found during the searches.
The investigations against three suspects aged between 18 and 24 are still ongoing. The searches were conducted at their residences by the criminal police from Plau, upon request from the Schwerin public prosecutor's office.
In addition to the stolen items from the local sports club, traffic signs and warning posts suspected to be from other thefts in the region were found during the searches. These findings are believed to be related to other thefts in the area.
The police searches in Goldberg were related to the theft of items from the Goldberg-Sportclub. The investigations against the suspects are still ongoing, and further updates will be provided by the Schwerin public prosecutor's office.
