Law enforcement in Poland discovered a jewellery box and a handbag in Wildeshausen.
Lost and Found: Valuable Jewelry Discovered in Wildeshausen's Arboretum
A surprising discovery was made on a hiking trail in the Arboretum in Wildeshausen, Delmenhorst, last Friday, August 15, 2025. A wallet, an empty cash box, and a jewelry box were found in the bushes.
Upon opening the jewelry box, several pieces of jewelry were revealed, as seen in the attached photo. The wallet, however, contained only a bakery bonus card. The empty cash box seemed to hold no clues as to its origin.
The Wildeshausen police are seeking the owners of these found items, especially the jewelry. If you recognize any of the items, particularly the jewelry shown in the photo, please contact the police at 04431-9410.
The location where the items were found suggests they may be stolen goods. No owner has been identified for the wallet, the empty cash box, or the jewelry box. The police are specifically asking for contact regarding the jewelry found in the jewelry box.
