In the early hours of Monday, 01.09.2025, a previously unknown suspect was caught attempting to steal an e-bike in Bielefeld, Germany.
The incident occurred on Leinenstraße, specifically at a carport near a house at the end of a cul-de-sac. The suspect approached the secured e-bike and attempted to steal it, but the owner became aware of the stranger and switched on the lights, causing the suspect to flee empty-handed.
The suspect was recorded by a surveillance camera during the theft attempt. He is described as having short hair, a thin face, and was wearing a light-colored t-shirt with Adidas stripes on the shoulder and a dark backpack.
