Law enforcement is seeking individuals who may have observed instances of roadway aggression.
In an alarming incident that occurred on Friday at approximately 4:45 PM, a dangerous traffic maneuver took place on the federal highway B29 heading towards Aalen, near Lorch. According to the Police Headquarters Aalen, a pickup truck was involved in the incident.
The sequence of events began when the pickup truck, travelling behind the last vehicle on the left lane, tailgated the vehicle and flashed its lights. The pickup truck then overtook the entire column, pulled back into the left lane in front of the leading vehicle, and suddenly braked hard, causing the four to five vehicles that had just been overtaken to brake sharply to prevent collisions.
The police are currently searching for witnesses to the incident or anyone who may have seen a corresponding pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck, described as a black Audi, is yet to be identified.
Emergency braking prevented any accidents during the incident, but the sudden braking maneuver caused some disruption on the busy road.
