Police Traffic Control Operation in Quickborn Yields Multiple Arrests and Administrative Offenses
On August 22, 2025, the Elmshorn Police Highway and District Office, in collaboration with additional personnel from the Elmshorn Police Station, conducted a traffic control operation on Friedrichsgaber Street at the A7 exit Quickborn. The operation, led by the Police Directorate Bad Segeberg, aimed to ensure the safety and legality of road users.
During the operation, which took place between 18:00 and 23:45, a total of 135 vehicles were controlled. The operation resulted in several significant findings.
At around 22:20, a 25-year-old Sprinter driver was stopped and found to be in violation of several offenses. The driver, who was later identified as a Georgian citizen, was suspected of driving without a license and under the influence of THC. A blood sample was taken from the driver to confirm the suspicion.
It was discovered that the driver had been residing in Germany illegally for several years, and his documents were found to be forgeries. He was taken into custody at Itzehoe Prison to serve a 35-day sentence.
Two other drivers were also suspected of driving under the influence of THC. However, their identities and the outcomes of their cases were not disclosed in the available information.
In addition, two drivers could not provide the required driver's license. As a result, a total of 31 additional cases of administrative offenses were initiated during the operation.
