Law enforcement officials carry out two apprehensions at Friedrichshafen train station, as instructed by federal court orders
On Wednesday afternoon, August 21, 2025, officers from the Federal Police Inspectorate Konstanz carried out checks at Friedrichshafen city station. The checks led to the apprehension of two individuals, both Polish nationals, who were wanted by the authorities.
One of the individuals was a 45-year-old woman, who was wanted due to unpaid fines for violating tax regulations. She was able to pay a fine of €750 on the spot and continue her journey.
The other individual was a man, whose details were not provided, who had a warrant for his arrest. He was subject to a custodial sentence due to an outstanding warrant for arrest, and was wanted by the public prosecutor's office in Memmingen. Officers transported him to Ravensburg prison for a 100-day custodial sentence.
This man had previously been sentenced by the district court in Ulm in December 2023 for violating compulsory insurance laws. However, he was unable to pay the fine on the spot during the incident at Friedrichshafen city station.
